How to apply

When to apply
When to apply for a school place will depend on the age of your child’s age and circumstances. The following online options are available to you.
- Starting secondary school – Information for a child transferring from primary or junior school (Year 6) to secondary school (Year 7), starting August 2024. If you need help with the online application, the following support sessions will be available.
- Starting school – Information for parents and carers of children starting full-time school for the first time, and moving on to full time school from a playgroup or nursery starting Autumn 2024. If you need help with the online application, the following support sessions will be available.
- Starting junior school – Information for a child transferring from infant school (Year 2) to junior school (Year 3), starting Autumn 2024. If you need help with the online application, the following support sessions will be available.
